| I'd gone to Al Reef for lunch. Ordered starters (chicken lolipop) which was good. The main course was mutton biriyani which was perhaps the most bland version of biriyani I've ever had in my life (ya, even worse than the version that I cook myself)! I guess they forgot to add the masala and salt somewhere in the process and ended up serving me rice colored white, red and yellow with a few bone-ridden pieces of bland mutton. If you are in the ECR area, I recommend Minar which serves perhaps the best biriyani and tandoori chicken in the Thiruvanmiyur/Kottivakkam zone. |
