"Restaurant with a view" 10 Feb 2010
The restaurant is located on the roof top of the ebony hotel. Nothing prepares you for the view of the city from this restaurant especially the exterior of the hotel or the lift that takes you up there. You will be quite relieved that the trek up there was worth the view. Their food is from all over India and they also seem to have Thai food on the menu. So you can find South Indian style mutton or Pasi Dhansak.

"Southern peninsula represented" 10 Feb 2010
With the feel of an old Mangalorean Bungalow the restaurant is spread both indoors and outdoors. In good weather opt to sit outside. With the emphasis on south Indian cuisine there is something from every state. Goa is perfectly represented by the lobster, Mangalore by their fresh fish especially the pomfret, and the list goes on with food from Kerala (fish curry and aapams) and much of the southern peninsula. A rare find is the Coorg fried chicken! This is a seafood junkie's sure fire pit stop!

"Dinner in the wild" 12 Feb 2010
Not many restaurants can boast of such a location, in the midst of a deer park, where you are likely so spot one of its many inhabitants as you eat! The restaurant's specialty are its kebabs and tandoor items. Neatly arranged on platters they are brought out by smartly dressed waiters in turbans and waistcoats. Make a reservation on weekends or for dinner. Lunch is easier to get in and you are more likely to see a deer!

"Vodka Golguppas and Raan!" 12 Feb 2010
The two level restaurant is know just as much for its great kababas as it is know for its Vodka shot Golguppas. The lower level is the main restaurant with a show kitchen and the upstairs has more seating area an a bar. Apart from the the succulent well spiced kababs their Raan (leg of lamb) is also a specialty. With two location, the other than Rajouri Garden the restaurant is now a chain.

"From the Royal Mughals to our plates" 13 Feb 2010
Established way back in 1913 this restaurant is an Delhi institution all by itself. With recipies passed down through the generations of chefs to the Royal families, there is a lot of history behind the food. Inspired by the Royal kitchens of the Mughals, the star of most dishes is the meat. Here you can find rich preparations of chicken, mutton and lamb. Thier Kababs are special and so is their "Bakra feast". This is far from fine dining, the setting is informal and cramped. But then you come for the food and care about little else
