| "Big Chill - Chilled out place for amazing deserts" |
30 Sep 2008 |
| Well, Big Chill is far from the best Italian food in delhi..
Probably qualifies as the best Indian Italian food in delhi...
What is does offer is good food, for a reasonable price .. at least as far as Italian restaurants go.
Fauzia though is the Mistress of deserts and there is no one holds a candle to her Souffle making skills! The Ice Creams are to die for, so are the FANTASTIC shakes.
I've been eating there for 8 years and never tire of it!

| "A place to Fullfill all your oriental desires" |
30 Sep 2008 |
| 19th Oriental Avenue, makes a statement as soon as you walk into the restaurant. It is opulent, exclusive and like most restaurants in 5 Star hotels, only for people who like to spend a small fortune on food.
The menu covers a bit more than the usual chinese fare and has extensive offerings from all over the far east.
There sushi is excellent, and a must try if it is you thing! The food is of a high standard, and I would rate this restaurant as one of the best places for oriental food in Delhi.
The cherry on the icing is there awesome wine list! At the risk of really burning a hole in your pocket go ahead and try some!

| "The Only Khousuey in NOIDA" |
25 Jan 2009 |
| Oriental Octopus is an intriguing restaurant, sort of legendary thanks to its elder sibling which is a members only place at the India Habitat Center.
It offers the regular mix of Chinese food, sprinkled with some original recipes, and ofcourse my favourite Burmese Khousuey.
The food quality isn't that great and the cuisine offered is pretty much indianised, but in NOIDA it stands out as being a good lunch place at a convenient location with some decent value for money food.

| "Finally, a Cafe in Noida!" |
29 Jan 2010 |
| I had been noticing Cafe Style while it was being built since I am perpetually looking for new places to break that monotony here in NOIDA. Cafe Style does that well, and is quite unique in its neighbourhood.
The "Chunky" minestrone is a must have, though it isn't as chunky as it used to be! The food menu is varied and quite interesting.. everything from pasta to bunny chow ( a south african indian hybrid!).
The service how ever is agonizing, improving that would definitely make the experience more pleasant.
A must visit for all of us in NOIDA, but I wouldn't recommend travelling too far for it :-).

| "Actually Been there :-)" |

| Now lets be clear about our expectations and hence fair.
Berco's doesn't server authentic chinese food!
Keeping that in mind, it is a cute little place which is a boon for the very dull and depressing surroundings of Sec 11/12 in NOIDA. It is in the middle of nice little park which is quite well kept!
The food is standard punju chinese, with some dishes shining through, it also has a bar with reasonably good cocktails. Try the crispy honey chilli lotus stem, its quite nice especially on a cold winter night!
It does require gumption to open a restaurant in a location like Berco's for that alone I'd like to applaud the management and I think they are reaping the benefits. |
