Opposite the most expensive shopping mall in the city is one of the cheapest restaurants where even those who buy from Diesel et al, eat here.
Grass Root they call it, the restaurant is perhaps one of the better ones in the city.
There’s the usual South Indian stuff on the menu, from Dosa to vada. Then there’s the regular Punjab wala paneer dishes and Amul ‘Cheesy’ Pizzas for the instant hungry. Service is jhatpat, and there’s no fuss to design the dishes with heavy garnishing.
Really like their simple servings such as Dosas and Idlis however their Punjabi fare is a little too simple and many times not the best. The quantity isn't much though but that is fine for the price charged.
The ambiance is descent enough with white walls and bright lights. The downside is the clear glass giving passer-bys a clear look at your plate! Read Less
