The place is one of the better ones at Thakur Complex. Located bang on the highway, it is hard to miss unlike its branch in Andheri. Urban Tadka retains its Punjabi outlook decked with cots, big lassi glasses and decorations throughout. Even the waiters are dressed as punjabi men to complete the entire set up.
The food here is excellent. Always has been. The nimbu chicken is tasty and so is the mutton kebab. Even the Fish tikka & Chicken tikka are excellent.
Last time around we had ordered for Kadai Paneer and butter chicken along with roomali rotis and naan. The naan was cold but the roomali rotis were nice. The food quantity here is descent for two and the pricing is moderate A meal for two can be easily had within Rs.700.
The service here has always been slow and lethargic and getting your orders mixed isn't a biggie on rush hours!
