Several first for an Italian restaurant for me this one.Spaghetti Kitchen in Mumbai ins't the friendliest of places but I got a taste of it in Bangalore. I know Italian cuisine and I know the culture too is very friendly (a la sopranos) but for the first time a server shook my hand as he introduced himself as we were seated. Very unusual but that is how it was!
The place was not very crowded and we were impressed with the service- very attentive waiters and the lady who showed us to our tables, explained the specials and made sure we knew what to expect. Tried the Chef's special Pork Chops,which was indicated on the board. Pretty descent I must say. Also tried the pollo con peperonata, risotto con pollo E olive, famous black pepper chicken and the involtinode pollo arabiata. Food just about decent and the portions too, a bit small though. The price was not bad but the real spoilers were the taxes!
