What is it?: This is a small scale hotel with rooms set around a courtyard that houses the main restaurant. The restaurant's descriptive title "Soya Station-Salad Bar" says it all. The vegetarian restaurant offers a sea of tofu and soy preparations along with a large variety of salds. If it means anything to you, the place is run by an American Expat.
Getting there: Take a right on to the road at the last junction on the way leading to Anjuna beach. Continue down and take a right at the Corporation bank and you will find the restaurant on your right. (Phew!)
The ambiance: Being outdoors, you are among lush greenery. There is a Kiddies corner to keep the kids occupied. A live band plays on some evening.
The food: The restaurant's USP is that everything is organic, homemade and clean. Tofu, Tempeh (Soybean Cakes)and Seitan (wheat meat)are served pitta bread or with brown rice. The wood fired Pizzas are also popular. Quench your thirst with a selection from the descriptive juice menu; Zenergy.

Although to be fair a lot of the dishes have tofu in them. Try the Tofu lasagna, the large salads, tofu ice cream and cheesecake(more for its uniqueness than taste!). This is a very family friendly restaurant considering the kiddies corner, with all the knick knacks out there, its sure to keep the kids busy. Come in on Sundays to enjoy some Spanish music performed live. Read Less
