When you have 'meat-eaters'in you friend circle, what better place than the Texas of Namma Bengaluru?
The almost-real cowboy welcomes you at the make-believe western 'saloon' door. Once in, be prepared to get transported to the wild west with the waiters (in complete cowboy gear) and the wooden decor that welcomes you.
The menu arrives, which happens to be an exhaustive choice printed on laminated sheets neatly pinned to a particle board (read 'wooden decor'). Nothing beats the steak there, and trust the guy taking your order to suggest the right consistency for your taste. Order placed, onto the table comes the bread-basket, a clear indication that you are in for a wait. But then dip into the herbed butter and all is forgiven.
If you are not so much of a meat-eater, you must try the 'spud', the Mexican veg option is the only veg dish that works for me in the presence of meat!
If you are planning on taking the kids, they could try the kiddy meals (not open to a table full of adults). Their spicy chicken wings will keep your taste buds busy till the main course arrives. But my suggestion would be, skip the starter, dive straight into the 'sizzler'..the only way I enjoy my steak! Don't forget to save space for the sizzling brownie..
A great experience this can be if you book your table in advance, since the place tends to get crowded rather quickly, even more on the weekend - lunch or dinner. A meal for 2 here could set you back roughly Rs.800/- without alcohol. I'd say get your meat-treat right here..
