Teama is a little heaven for partygoers right in Candolim. Most people mistake it for a restaurant but it is a lot more. One of the few clubs near the beach with air conditioning Teama is my first choice for a nice lunch in the afternoons.
While one can sit in the restaurant, the rooftop is also open to enjoy the beautiful views of Goa. Wish it was a little less crowded in front of the restaurant though for an unrestricted view!
They specialize in Goan food here so don't be surprised if you actually get to sample some authentic local cuisine. Their Chicken Xacuti, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Roast & Steaks and sizzlers are famous. Infact the biryani is so delicious that I call it the Goan Biryani, which is different than most other biryanis you get across India. The biggest disappointment here is the desserts menu which is generally barren except for some Bebinca which isn't always available either.
