Finally, a place that realises that on a friday or saturday night, lots of people want to relax and not SUIT UP. One can go to Bonobo in shorts and flip-flops. I love it. Bonobo is definitely not an eating place and more of a drinking place with an interactive bar. Don't let people tell you otherwise. Their bar is a the best thing available in the city. Imagine listening to progressive music, in your shorts and sipping on Corona? Incredible and rare in Mumbai!
The ambiance is dark and to some extent pleasant for the conversing crowd. But some corners are extremely dark compared to others.
The food menu does not have much to offer and is quite expensive. The mash was ok not as creamy as expected. But the lasgana and sundried tomato pasta which I had was good. The prices are on the higher side for a reason! But then again, this is the best place to go to for a cool dinner and some drinks, in shorts!!!!
