The cafe is quite airy and spacious. The decor is quite spartan with simple wooden furniture but the few backless benches that are there may not always be the most comfortable option. White walls and large windows make room for enough natural light to enter the restaurant.
For Starters we had: French fries, grilled veggies and caesars salad, everything was nice, except in grilled veggies we got like 8 pieces of vegetable grilled in pesto, that's disappointing quantity to be honest.
The white snapper, bassa and risotto all were well cooked and had distinguished flavors very nice, especially the bassa dish.
We had ordered a spanish omelette, bagel with scambles eggs and fluffy eggs to order with a chicken sausage (charged extra). They got the omlettes spot on and the cheese was excellent too - not too creamy or heavy!
Service is pleasant and quick. The waiters are well clued in and are able to make proper recommendations. Read Less

Just a fancy Udipi-joint style seating and decor, really. And yes, you can also work on your tan if you sit by the huge windows overlooking a busy road.
Pathetic and S.L.O.W Service – Disinterested waiters who can’t seem to know what to suggest and then refuse to improvise with the menu. I asked for a simple grilled chicken in a lemon butter sauce with vegetables on the side (all items picked from varied dishes on their menu, mind you) and was promptly declined.
The soup I ordered had way too much salt while the other dishes ordered had none. The waiter had to be reminded to bring in the bread which was an accompaniment with a Chorizo dish. The Tiramisu served had gone bad.
The food took a little over an hour to arrive at the table and wasn’t worth the wait either. With exactly 3 occupied tables the entire time we were there, I wonder what their excuse could be.
the closed Salt Water Grill has been reborn in Bandra as the Salt Water Cafe. Open all day the restaurant offers air conditioned dining, a sun deck for AL fresco dining, a bar and a delicatessen.
