Apollo Bunder doesn't boast of many renowned restaurants but All Stir Fry is an exception. A landmark, the Mars Foods property is a exception to the rule of all good things in Mumbai coming at a price.
The innovative restaurant lets you choose the ingredients you want and hand it over to the chef in a Wok for him to prepare a meal for you!
The make-it-yourself wok has got an excellent choice of veggies and meats/ seafood. Pick what you want and how much you want!! While there is a wide choice of sauces, it is preferable to pick the milder ones, the others are difficult to differentiate in taste. They also have a la carte menu for fans to taste the more expensive oriental cuisine. I personally loved the Black Currant Ice Tea & the Sweet Chilly & Hunan Sauce.
PS: Prior reservation is a must and insist for seats with the back rests.. Else a pain in the back is sure to come.

The restaurant's format is somewhat based on the popular Stir-fry restaurants in the US. All ingredients are neatly laid out for you to pick and choose. So at one island choose the basic ingredients vegetables and/or meats including fish, prawns, beef and chicken. Pick a sauce and then move on to the second station where the chef cooks it for you based on your preferences. There is respect for strict vegetarians, as they will cook and saute your food in separate "uncontaminated" utensils. If you don't want the hassle of semi-cooking your own meal just order from the ala carte menu. The ambiance is contemporary and minimalist with with black-and-white benches and tables facing food stations.
If you are looking for a wild night head upstairs to Polly Esthers, the retro dance club.
