The resort opened in 1998 and is located at Calangute, less than a km away from the beach. They provide a complimentary shuttle to the beach. The hotel is 50 km from the airport and 15 km from the nearest railway station. There are thirteen air-conditioned suites at this small luxury boutique hotel comprising three standard suites, seven superior suites and three deluxe suites. All the rooms have patios, are air-conditioned and decorated with colonial-style furniture. The resort also runs The Pousada Beach Sea Front Restaurant, that overlooks the beach. The restaurant at the hotel is called Copper Bowl.
