Golden Grill is a new Arabic restaurant on Carter Road, Bandra. Besides Arabic, it also serves, Punjabi and Indian cuisine.

While here, we ordered for a Chicken Shawarma. Some places on Carter Road offer an Indianised version of the Shawarma wherein they either use Mayo or sometimes even curd in place of Hummus.

Golden Grill however, serves the Shawarma with hummus! The Hummus was majorly at the beginning of the Shawarma while most of it was just chicken, pita bread and veggies.
There seemed to be a lot of demand for the Shawarma at Golden Grill and why not? Their Shawarma's are as authentic as one can get here. Its closest competitor is also its next door neighbour Maroosh but they charge extra for a plate of Hummus!

At Rs.110 it isn't the cheapest but with other places constantly increasing prices Golden Grill seems very affordable.
