It can be tough re-inventing a place with history without trying to go down the same road. Brun, I believe has done a good job of it though. The decor is well done with a mix of modern chic and wood + brick. The music plays a crucial role here as it goes well with the theme and is non-intrusive. The service is friendly and the staff knowledgeable. The entire holistic ambiance of the places makes me want to come back again and again.
The food isn't authentic but then again, they don't say it is! Love the Bruschetta, Penne in Pesto and Cottage Cheese Fingers. The presentation of the food resembles that of a Fine Dine place while being easy on the pocket. For some reason, the dessert continues to be a major disappointment. The brownies are hard and always have a weird after taste.
They also have a pool table here and per frame costs Rs.70 which isn't a lot. So go ahead and have some fun!
