"The Wharf" is a great place to dine at while staying at the GRT. Located right by the sea, almost every table has a great view. Make a reservation for dinner on weekends to make sure you get an outdoor table, although the ones under the canopy are quite nice too.
Our table service came with a complimentary bottle of water and a refreshing welcome drink. The service was quick, efficient and very polite. Our waiter came by with a cow bell sort of menu that had the specials written on each of the 4 sides. He described each dish very well and answered any questions we had.
They have pretty good selection of liquor and wines including some of my favorite single malts. We ordered the Maryland crab soup, the special Murgh Chatpata and a sheek kabab. All of them were pretty good especially the Chatpata. We did not need to order any sides, the meal came with two rotis for each of us, rice and two bows of black and yellow dal. Pretty neat, I say! I cannot complain about the quantities too, they were good sized and almost too much for us.
All through the meal the server checked on us, refreshed our drinks and made us feel quite special.
During our dinner we also noticed that the kids were kept entertained by the staff and seemed to be having a pretty good time.
As you can tell I am quite impressed by the place, definitely recommend it.
