What is Grubhogs?

Grubhogs aims to become the ultimate city guide that taps into the community's voice and insights on local restaurants, bars, clubs, spas and salons. Grubhogs carries listings and reviews for Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Goa, Chennai, Noida and Gurgaon. All ratings and reviews are user determined and Grubhogs plays no part in determining these statistics.

 

I am a business owner, can I become a member?

Yes! regsiter as a Grubhogs member and answer yes to "Are you a Business owner?" during the registration process. Complete your member profile. As business member you will have a great many opportunities to promote your business and interact with the Grubhogs community.

 

My business is not listed on Grubhogs. What should I do?

We are continually updating and adding to our database, its only a matter of time before we have your business listed on the website. But if do not want to wait, here is what you do:

  1. First regsiter as a Grubhogs member and answer yes to "Are you a Business owner?" during the registration process. Complete your member profile.
  2. Use the "Business Listing" feature on the "My Account" page to check if your business is listed. If you are sure it is not listed, use the "Add a Business" link to add your business.
  3. You might receive a phone call or email from the Grubhogs Team to verify that you are the owner of the business.
  4. Once you are verified as the business owner, your business will appear on your "Business listing". You will then be able to keep track of your busines page on Grubhogs.
  5. You will be able to add photos to your business page, make sure your business information is correct and add events related to your business on your business page, Grubhogs Events Calendar and Grubhogs Event listing. All updates you make will be immedaitely visible on your business page.

 

My business has been listed on Grubhogs. Now what should I do?

Congratulations! Here is what you should do:

  1. First regsiter as a Grubhogs member and answer yes to "Are you a Business owner?" during the registration process.
  2. Do login to "My Account" and use the "Business Listing" link to find your business and Claim it as your own. Please await verification by the Grubhogs Team.
  3. You might receive a phone call or email from the Grubhogs Team to verify that you are the owner of the business.
  4. Once you are verified as the business owner, your business will appear on your "Business listing". You will then be able to keep track of your busines page on Grubhogs.
  5. You will be able to add photos to your business page, make sure your business information is correct and add events related to your business on your business page, Grubhogs Events Calendar and Grubhogs Event listing. All updates you make will be immedaitely visible on your business page.

 

My business has been reviewed. Now what should I do?

Congratulation! You are in the game!

  1. First regsiter as a Grubhogs member and claim the business as your own. Follow the instructions above or email us with your questions.
  2. Do not overestimate the impact of a single negative review. It happens to even the best businesses. That said, if you see a trend of negative reviews, you may want to take this feedback and determine if there is a way to improve your business.
  3. Do not offer incentives or payment for your customers to write positive reviews about your business on Grubhogs.
  4. Do not review your own business or solicit reviews from your employees or friends.

 

Can I respond to a customer's review of my business?

Yes, but we request that you follow the guidelines listed below. Please remember that under no circumstances will we reveal members personal information or email addresses.

  1. Private Response: Login to "My Account" and use the "Respond to the Review" if you would like to send a private mesage toc a reviewer. You can thank those customers who have reviewed your business using this feature. Although private we review all messages and will forward them to the member on your behalf.
  2. Public Response: You could also thank those customers who have reviewed your business by using the Compliment feature located below the review. Compliments might be visible to all members as they are displayed on the concerned members profile page.
  3. Do not lash out at the people who have written negative reviews about you. We may choose not to forward such message or delete such responses.
